Description
Golfers should be warmed up now and have their thinking caps on! This relatively short hole will require players to choose the best route to the green, beginning at the tee. The tee shot plays over a swath of wetland that extends along the left side of the hole all the way through the green. From the tee the golfer has several options-he may choose the shorter, but narrower, route to the green by playing down the left side of the fairway. This shot must bisect a large bunker in the center of the fairway and the wetland looming large along the left side of the hole. A more cautious approach to the green would be to play over the bunker on the right to the elevated fairway, which leaves a longer, but more open approach to the green. The safest route to the green would be a tee shot short of all of the bunkers, then a lay-up approach shot short of the green, leaving a chip-and-a-putt for par. Any way you look at it, the hole is beautiful and fun!
