Description
The par-5 fifth hole is reachable in two shots for some. At around 520 yards, the hole provides a bit of a breather after the stiff starting holes. The tee shot plays over the wetland that bisects this hole from the last, but the marsh grass does not come into play. A lone bunker on the right side of the fairway provides direction off the tee and may come into play for some. Designer's advice-play a little right; you can play out of sand, but not out of the swamp.
The second shot allows a clear shot to the green. Hit it long and straight and be rewarded with a putt for eagle, but don't miss left. A large bunker guards the left side of the green and some of the sand can be quite far from the green, leaving the golfer just hoping to salvage par.
When you need a break, the TWISTED EARTH GRILL,
SWEEETGRASS CAFE, THE FOOD COURT, HIGH MOUNTAIN BUFFET,
and the NIGHTHAWK LOUNGE are all close by.
