Description
Following the fifth hole, golfers travel back through the tunnel to the sixth hole. The sixth is a short par-4 hole. Careless golfers will let the short distance cause them to think it is an easy par while prudent players will play the hole well and be rewarded. The tee shot from the back tee plays over a finger of the wetland we saw on the first hole, but it should not come into play. The real hazard on this hole is the nest of bunkers guarding the front left side of the green. An overzealous tee shot or a poorly struck approach can find one of these bunkers and turn one of the shorter holes on the golf course into double bogey. Play the hole safe-long iron or fairway wood from the tee with a short iron into the green. Take your par and run to the next hole.
When you need a break, the TWISTED EARTH GRILL,
SWEEETGRASS CAFE, THE FOOD COURT, HIGH MOUNTAIN BUFFET,
and the NIGHTHAWK LOUNGE are all close by.
