Description

A leisurely drive on the cart over several hundred yards of elevated boardwalk bridge will settle your nerves and prepare you for the final hole on the front nine. At the end of the winding bridge, the tees for the ninth hole greet the golfer with a view of wetlands, pines, and a lot of fairway-the strong finishing hole stretches to over 460 yards. A target bunker on the right side of the fairway will provide direction from the tees. Aim for the bunker and avoid the wetland that extends along the entire left side of the hole. A lone bunker centered on the fairway only looks menacing, but it is well short of the green and should not be a problem for golfers. The large green is protected by a bunker front left of the green. Par can be earned many ways-some golfers may opt to play short right of the green and chip close to make par on this hole. This is an excellent test of golf to wrap up the front nine.
